Re_action: Issue 23 – ‘Gone – But Not Forgotten’ Issue

Each issue we give you a specific theme and we want you to submit a piece of original work that visually reacts to this theme! Use your creative skills and your imagination!

Some ideas to spark you imagination: Loss, Legacy, Memories, Ancestry, Departure, Remember, Lost skills or techniques.

A maximum of 1 image to be submitted please.

Here’s My Work, I hope you like it…

Each issue we show off emerging creatives and we want you! Send in your original artwork, design or photography. A maximum of 6 images please.

If sending multiple images please place them in a Zipped Folder with your full name and number the images (eg. Bec_Brown_01, Bec_Brown_02, and so on… otherwise I might mix them up and credit someone else with your work!)

Please do not send your personal URL’s as I receive so many submissions I don’t have time to review them all. You are more likely to have your work published if you make it as easy as possible for me. Please send examples of your artwork and follow my image specifications below.

72 dpi, RGB (colour) – JPG (format)

When emailing your work please include the following details:
- Full Name
- Country
- Title (if any)
- Website (or an alternative contact URL where people can see more of your work)

Please name your files as:
firstname_lastname.JPG

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

By sending your submission to Blanket magazine you allow us to reproduce the image/s in the magazine and for use on our website. Unfortunately not all work can be guaranteed a place in the magazine due to high demand, time and space issues. If your work is accepted into Blanket magazine we will email you to let you know once the current issue is released.

Blanket is unable to provide free copies of the magazine if your work is selected to be featured. As we don’t receive any advertising or financial support we need to charge a small download fee so we can continue to keep publishing the magazine and creating opportunities for artists. Please only submit your work if you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

All copyright belongs solely to the artists and no images from this magazine are to be used without the artists prior permission. Blanket accepts no responsibility for the copyright of artworks used (although we do severely frown upon it).

In turn Blanket magazine may not be reproduced in any way without prior consent from the publisher.
