Blanket Magazine » Send us a photo of your ‘Creative Space’!

Because we love dual-meaning words we thought what better time to do a feature on creative SPACEs than in the Cosmos Issue! (see what we did?). So were asking you to show off your own personal creative space!

All you need to do is send us a photo of your working space (a pulled back landscape shot please) and a  close up of an object in your creative space that keeps you chugging along happily through your work day (is it your dog, your fave poster, your stripey socks?). We’d also like to hear from you why your creative space and your chosen object inspire you!

We will be featuring a range of different ‘creative spaces’ in Blanket Issue 22 – The Cosmos Issue so if you would like to share your creative space with our readers then send an email with:
• Your name
• Your website address (or another relevant url address)
• Two photos (one as a pulled back version and one of an object in your workspace that inspires you)
• A short explanation of your creative space and your chosen object and why it inspires you.

Send your emails to cosmos {at} blanketmagazine.com

Deadline for ‘creative space’ submissions: May 15th 2010

And for some inspiration Blanket editorial assistant, Nicola, is showing off her creative space! Above is her (clean, and dusted for the occasion) desk and below is a photo of her teaset. “I’ve been searching for the perfect sugar container to fit on the mini tray and recently found this one in Newcastle Under Lyme. I love it.”
