Friday was a momentous day in the Blanket studio as I welcomed Blankets very first intern Nicola Rowlands! I know an intern! Aren’t we all gown up! Nicola is a recent graduate and has had her work previously featured in Blanket Magazine {see above image}.

I actually first met Nicola over email when she was a student and she interviewed me for a paper she was writing on magazines. We kept in touch as she lived in Manchester and I was about to move to Manchester {weird coincidence hey?}

And now fast forward a year and she will be sharing my office {for one day a week at least!} and helping me with the running of Blanket. Finally some of the hundreds of emails I receive may get a small chance of being returned!
